Mark Inventory Items as Active/Inactive | Deactivate Inventory Items

There might arise a situation where you don't want an item to appear on the list since you no longer sell/purchase that item. Moreover, you cannot delete this item since it is already used in sale/purchase transactions.

BookKeeper provides you the option of marking items as Inactive/Active.

You can follow the below steps to mark your Inventory Items as inactive:

On Book Keeper Windows

1. On Dashboard go to Inventory Item in the main menu.

2. On the top right side you will find the 'Active Items' option. You need to select 'All' there.

3. Once you select All, a list will appear next to each item name. You can mark 'False' the items you want to mark as inactive and it will be saved automatically and mark 'True' to make them active.

4. Now select Active Items from the dropdown, the items that you marked as inactive will not appear in the Inventory item list.

On Book Keeper Android

On Dashboard, go to Inventory Items > click on three horizontal lines on top right > click on Edit Active/Inactive > click on Apply.

Now unselect the items that you want to mark Inactive.
