If you are individual or in proprietorship, you just have to go to Transactions > Journal > Create

Cash/Bank account Debit

   To Capital Account (Credit)

Book Keeper automatically creates one Capital account.

 

If you are in partnership or there are multiple stakeholders, you first need to create their capital accounts in All Accounts section. Account type would be Capital Account.

Example: Ram Capital, Jon Capital, Mohan Capital etc

To add capital, Go to Transactions > Journal > Create


Cash/Bank account Debit

   to Ram Capital   (Credit)
   to Jon Capital (Credit)
   to Mohan Capital (Credit)
