Please check the following things if you experience slow or stuck Bookkeeper windows version performance:

1. Make sure you are on the latest version. (Go to Help > About Book Keeper to check version)

2. Make sure you restart your computer at least once a day. If you have not restarted your system, restart it now.
3. Check number of Accounts (Customer/Supplier), In case of Dropbox there should be 5k number of Accounts and Items for BKWeb the count is 10K (Approx.)

3. Check number of buyer details which you have entered while creating an Invoice. You can check the details from Reports > Customer/Supplier List > select Display Buyer details (from Cash Transaction)

4. Go to Settings > Windows Specific Settings > Number of transactions per page. Change it to 50 or 100

5. Go to Settings > Windows Specific Settings > Display item/service details in transactions - disable it

6 Go to Settings > Debugging > Debugging Mode: make sure it is disabled.

7. If it is responding slowly while loading transactions, check if you have added any transactions on the future dates.

8. Go to Task Manager > check CPU storage and RAM usage, if it’s high then please coordinate with your local IT person.

Close Book Keeper and open again. It should work fine.
