There is a different pricing module in Bookkeeper windows called Multiple Pricing.
Multiple Pricing basically means you can maintain more than 1 (upto 7) prices for a single item depending on the customer you are dealing with. In the current scenario, a business man cannot quote the same price for an Item to a Customer who is buying a single unit or a Distributor who will buy in bulk. Taking this business practice into consideration, we have introduced this feature in Bookkeeper as well.
In multiple pricing, you can maintain multiple price levels for a single item. Not only this, you even can mention that default price level in account (customer) master as well. You can mention up to 7 price levels. For example, you will be able to define different price levels for Customers, Distributors, Retailers & Wholesalers, etc.
To begin with, Go to Settings > Transaction Settings > Date and Rate> Enable Multiple Pricing.
You can enable up to 7 pricing levels.
After enabling the feature, you will need to go to Inventory Items where you will be able to quote different prices for each level.After saving prices level in Inventory Item, one will need to go to All Accounts or Customer/Debtors > Click on Customer name if you want to update an existing Customer or can create a new customer (Alt + C). Here you can mention your default price level as well.
After selecting the default price level (for e.g. Retailer) Bookkeeper will automatically pick that price for the item while creating a sales invoice.In case you are creating an invoice and taking the customer as CASH, even then you can select desired price level in the invoice itself from the Buyer Details window.
